PRAYER TO SAINT ANTHONY OF PADUA

O Blessed Saint Anthony

Saint Anthony, we turn to you when we have troubles and stress, sure of your love, for you knew well the Christ Child's soft caress.

For you clearly heard His gentle voice, you clasped Him to your chest, You felt his Holy Face against yours, His arms about you pressed.

Oh Gentle Saint, tell Jesus our needs, His children too are we, and ask Him now to grant our prayers and we at peace shall be.

We would, O blessed Saint, with you the Holy Child adore, with hearts as pure as yours, dear saint now and forevermore.
